Summary:

The recent Mexico study mission has been successfully concluded. We gathered in-depth feedback from 12 companies(total of 22 participants), covering various sectors such as screw manufacturing and trade exports. By systematically collecting participants' full experience, industry insights, and strategic suggestions, we have gained a clearer understanding of the practical needs and challenges enterprises face when expanding into the Mexican market.

Mexico study mission was highly praised by participating companies. The introduction to the policy environment by the Ministry of Economic Development of Mexico City received a 75% satisfaction rating, while the analysis of supply chain models by State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), GAC Group, and Yutong Bus, along with ICBC's cross-border financial solutions, each scored 67%. Companies highlighted that these sessions provided invaluable references for understanding local compliance and integrating into supply chains.

During the site visit to the JAC Motors factory, participants exhibited significant interest in the production processes and quality control, both rated at 75%. Additionally, there was a notable willingness to collaborate with the Sino-Mexican team cooperation model, with 58% of participants expressing this sentiment. More than 5 companies also suggested incorporating dialogue sessions with local management in future visits to gain a more comprehensive understanding of factory operations and supply chain collaboration practices.

Following the study mission, more than 3 companies plan to accelerate the development of their Mexican operations and business, while some intend to conduct further assessments on tariff policies and supply chain costs. Participants generally agreed that the core challenges for Hong Kong's small and medium-sized screw enterprises entering the Mexican market lie in trade barriers and tariff uncertainties, as well as how to effectively integrate localized supply chains.

In response to the feedback received, our future offerings will be expanded to include specialized seminars addressing customs and tariff compliance. Additionally, specific suggestions from all sessions will be systematically compiled and integrated into our planning for future events and service enhancements, with the aim of supporting businesses in their pursuit of efficient and stable cross-border development.
